nokia 1600 Strange Mic Problem - GSM-Forum

I have a Nokia 1600 whioch dropped into kerosene, After drying it the LCD is quite dull but thats not the main problem. The main problem is that the Microphone is not working anymore. In a sense that what ever i say comes to my earpiece (Speaker) and not at the ther person's mobile. Kindly help.

thanks alot. i'll try and post result. just to confirm, i will have to join these two points (along the red line) with a wire?
