Nokia 3310 restarting

I have a 3310 that whenthe SIM card is not in will remain on. It has 3 battery bars showing. The phone charges OK.
When the SIM card is inserted its gets to the handshaking screen then restarts and continues to restart till you turn it off.

Ive search through the this forum and it doesnt seem a common problem.
Anyone have any ideas??

Thanks

Simple, remove the pa.try it if it manage to go to standby(no network without pa),you know what to do.

If above dont help, times to replace/ball flash ic.

Goodluck, hope these can solve your problems

No. restarting is not problem of PA i think. (when bat is ok.)
2 reasons >>
Eeprom damaged ?? > reflash, update FAID, FF reset, (rehot FLASH IC
Cobba fault ??> restarting phone and/or SIM NOT ACCEPTED, INVALID SIM,
than rehot / change COBBA IC, Reflash, recalculate.....

@ vurugua
phone restarting is definately hardware promlem.you need to interchange two resistors on pcb.i don't have pic so u gone have to do with me description.bottom left corner of pcb whe charging ic is, theres this doube resistor in between charging ic (on right side of charging) and a big capacitor, u need to care fully remove this resistor and replace it with identical resistor just a few milimiters above it and bring the one u remove there back down here.ti's a tricky move but trust me 100000000% working.tested at least 12 pphones.
goodluck

Thumbs up

1)
3310 Intermittent reboots or turns off: Remove L511

2)
3310 Phone switches off by itself:
Solution 1: Without SIM stays on but with SIM it shuts off as it finds network: Use Rolis tool 1.8 "Reset Software"
Solution 2: Without SIM stays on but with SIM it shuts off as it finds network: Change PA
Solution 3: Check/replace battery contacts and PCB connection to battery contacts
Solution 4: Switches off randomly, Remove L511,
Solution 5: Switches off randomly,Change R301 From 2 x 2k2 to 2 x 100R
R301 change has been done in production since following HWIDs:
UP4IV (0201741) 0813
UD4 (0201476) 0814
UG4 (0201677) 0815
