Nokia 3310 USB Data Cable

I bought a USB Data Cable for my Nokia 3310.
When i try to use programs such as LogoManager or Oxygen PhoneManager II they cannot connect to my phone via USB. I only get options for COM1 COM2 COM3 etc...

Do i need drivers of some sort? I didn't get nothing with the cable, just the cable itself.

If i do need drivers where can i download them?

Please Help

Thanks

You need an M/F Bus cable connected via serial port to use Logomanager and Oxygen.

After you installed the driver for your USB Data cable :

1. check what virtual Com Port is assigned for your cable in
Windows Device manager. e.g. COM 5
2. Select this assigned Com Port, e.g. COM5 in Logomanager.
(FBUS) connection.
It depends the software allows 'Virtual' Com Port communications
or not, not all softwares have be written for support Virtual Com
Port by USB Bus, e.g. some 'timing' problems..
If the USB Data Cable is using Prolific USB-Serial chipset (you can
check in the Device Manager), it is OK for Logomanager.
