Nokia 5030 strange keypad problem - GSM-Forum

Many times i solve keypad problems by change K.P ic, but this one is very strange,. this phone is fresh board.. When u press any number key its shows the number u pressed then add six to it, for example u press 1, it shows 1,6. secondly navigation and softkeys not working, when u press radio botton it shows "6",. I have changed 3 keypad ic, Rehot cpu, removed volume and radio switchs, still not solved...
Anyone come across this strange problem?..How u solve pls pls.

dear brother keypad ic shorting . check your ic or inmother board ic print check it

. 100 %%% ic or ic print problem .

check all point of keypad ic on board for shorting not change keypad ic make keypad ic jumper after five jumpers check keypad if ok make another jumper and check after every jumper i solved that type of prob in 1110 two times i already changed two ics but result same then i make jumpers of ic try it i think your prob solved

thanksss keypad is ok .par broo right key button nahi chal raha.solution toh mil gaya par jo shorting karni hai vahan par soldering nahi ho rahi..... pls help me

chek the ways on front of board 1000% . check the ways of 1and 6 and others

just change all side keys........ur problem will solve.....1000000000%
