nokia 5210 black display


I have a crazy nokia 5210, because when I turn it on, only a black screen appears, it waits for +/- 8 seconds and then turn off.

I already changed hagar, cobba and CCOnt and stilss the same.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
Most nokias 5210 have problems with mad, try reball it first or exchange it.

As many knows these problems occur mainly in 5210. Because both CPU (MAD if you will) and Flash ic is unglued for some reason.

Well to the faults.

1 : For black screen it's mostly CPU, reflow or change it. Sometimes only it has to do with the flash. So before doing anything be sure on the fault.

2 : If Flash ic is damaged or some balls oxidized due to humidity, then phone behaves strange i.e. when bottoms are pressed the phone powers off, but finds network and starts up normally, only in few cases thse problems can be cured by flashing. So only solution is as MrHazeem says, reball/change flash ic.
