Nokia 5800 no power - GSM-Forum

Hello, I have a problem with a 5800. The guy that gave it to me, says it suddenly stopped. It wasn`t charging or anything, it was just simply on a table and it turned off, then nothing. If any1 can help me out with some pointers on how to fix it, I would be very grateful. Connected it via FBUS/MBUS and nothing, can`t even check flashing bus. It`s just dead.

I have searched the forum, but there is no solution to this so far. Any hint could very helpful.

I can`t flash it, it doesn`t turn on at all. Tried FBUS ... and UFC cables ... cleaned the PCB to make sure there is no water damage or anything ... nothing worked. The box doesn`t even see it. If i could flash it, everything would be fine. But I can`t do anything to it, software-wise. It`s a hardware fault which i`m trying to figure out.

The problem is, I can`t flash it. The box doesn`t see it. It`s completely dead. I think it`s something related to the power IC, or the connectors to it. I need the power ways from the battery connectors to the power IC, to check where is the problem.
