Nokia 6060 LCD Flickers - GSM-Forum

Hi Allz,
Yesterday I got one Nokia 6060 which LCD sometimes flickers and sometimes its Ok.Is it Flex Cable Fault or LCD fault and any IC fault ?.Because I dont have extra Flex or LCD to check,so which one should I buy so that it becomes Ok.

i would replace the flex and resolder the display connectors. flash the phone to the latest software (V04.10) if you can. i would place a sticky pad (1.5mm in height) on the display connector on the flex connector main pcb side. this will help hold connection, those connectors are rather flimsy.
