Nokia 6111 Dead After Changing Lcd

Hi...have a 6111 which was working except it had a cracked LCD. So the LCD was changed and now the phone is dead. It won't even charge. None of the parts have been accidently damaged.
Anyone know why this is? Thanks

most brobably the small resistance beside the ribbon connector must be broken which looks like a small glass ic. remove it and make jumper one above and one down in the middle leave blank. it will solve your broblem. because from this resistance on/off track goes to on/off switch. your on/off track is broken. remove this glass resistance and make jumper as said above
