i dont think its a software problem......just check the pads and also the caps for the display.

The rull is to check the software at 1st, exept in famous documented faults!!!?

Try check voltages and signals on contacts to display.
Just use troubleshooting on this model.

Change the CCont. Usually That's ennough, but if you have broken vires and galvans for example by water, I don't give you much chance...

Look at this picture here and check the 2 capasitors as sawa told you to.

check LCD voltage on LCD connector , inpotant pin5, you can see ~2.8v. If not check in interlink from pin5 to R306, if ok remove MAD (CPU) and check interlink from pin5 to MAD pin D1, if ok replaced MAD.

in my 6210 the same problem I solved refluxing ccount,work perfect now

I have 6210 but it has not ringer , I genget (ringers,ccont,full fllash)it is saim problem

As " ARS " told U , a service manual , and follow it U can download it from this link
http://www.id2.cz/service__manuals.htm
That will gives U a compleet vieu , also make sure that the other point of the buzzer is connected to the +ve line.
