when i remove down kepad ic the upper keys and volume keys are work
when i change down keypad ic or make keypad jumper all keys not work expect power

Changing keypad ic didn't worked for me problem was there in the Keys, i gave jumper from upper key to the call key now its working like a charm.

here is the solution for 6500s key pad problem
1 clean the pcb
2 change the flex if not then
3 change bottom key pad still the same
4 change key pad ic (there is two key pad is's on the pcb top key pad /bottom key pad pad) top ke pad ic is next to two displays ic's and bottom key pad is ic next to keypad connector
5 still the same change the volume key pad ic's there is two cristal ic's in bitween volume button i fix many fone in same problem

Just check the Volume switch take off then check if keys are work then change the switch..
