Nokia 6500c LCD display upside down - GSM-Forum

Hi. Have the above handset with a display fault. LCD is ok, not sure if it's the display IC or where it is?

Any help appreciated.

but i think if you talk details,,maybe can give some tips,,,,
even then i want say before you try display ic....maybe better u try 1st flexi cable,,,

Thanks for the quick reply

What I am saying is that the display on the phone is showing distorted or upside down.

With regards to the flex cable, the only flex cable on the 6500c is the one for the camera I believe?

Looking at your picture, isn't that for the 6500 slide?

Change LCD drivers ( crystal IC's) near lcd connector and post results. Thanks

i am 100% confirm this is 6500s,,,pcb,,i cut and draw then i post for you,,
