Nokia 6600 keypad problem - GSM-Forum

hi
i have a 6600 nokia with some keypad problems : kepads numbers 2 , 5 , 8 and * are not working. Flatcable ok , crystal changed same results. I cleaned the conector very well so is not a fault. Any other sugestions?

hello how r u ,first of all i want to tell u that in this opreation MAXIUM RISK is involvedso plz be care ful ,u must check the keypad prints if these r ok then resold the CPU
these all on ur own risk

just changed the keypad ics at the side of jack

no need for all this
just resolder the keypad ic's near the connector
if not working change them
100% working tested by me

thanks for info , i will post the result after i change ( i already resolded - no result ). soon as i change it i will let u know ( i dont have another one to replace for the moment )

I hav also the Same prblm as u said ma 6600 nokia kepad *,2,5,8 is not working.I think vali.rusu We should changed ics near by jack.
