nokia 6600 keypad problem - GSM-Forum

have 6600 when i press key 4;5; or 6 then send key is automatically
press and when press 7;8; or 9 then end key is pressed i have changed both key pad ic,s and upper pannel.....
butt problem not solved any one have solution so plzzz reply

100% Problem Solve With Changing Keypad Ic. Change Both Keypad Ic Carefully.as They Arenear Flash Ic Because Of Which Handset Can Be Dead.

Problem surely in keypad ic. see this

solution:
1) remove both ic's

2) clean pbc surface where ic can be fixed.

3) install first upper ic with new one.

then check on pressing 4 5 6 still send key press or not
if it works ok then

4) install next ic.

after changing keypad Ic and same problem try to reflow the UPP...Might gonna work,,,,,,
