nokia 6600 vibration problem

hi to you all!

i have a problem with the vibration on my phone. when i play a ringtone, i hear a zooming noice, but the fone dousn't vibrate at all.

thing's ive tested:

- the motor, works
- freely rotation of motor

i've spotted something, but i don't know if it's normal.

it looks like the plate has 'melted' there is all black stuff on the edges and a bit above the chip. but again, maybe it's nothing.

hope you can help!

I am the biggest noob u can ever find on earth, cuz even I have the same problem, but when I saw the pic u had sent about the vib pad, it went right over my head. Do u have somethin thats similar to fixing the vibration for dummies.
