Nokia 7210 -INSERT SIM???
 

from what is this problem? :D

It varies from reason to other , that may prevent the SIM card from being readen by the phone ( Dirty , oxidisation , brocken track , up to semicondutors faliur ).
If U still cant solve it please add some details , with U'r trials .

chek out the pins of sim card connector for any drysoldering. if ok then chek out the tracks leading to connector for any connection failure.

Start with the basics and check sim reader then work your way up download the service manual and go through it until you find the fault
I reckon is proberly part R388 but thats jus a guess

br check the 2 smd under the sim card reader,change them and it will be ok.

it could be the uem. i had this problem after changing uem on 6610 and 3100. try to rehot uem. cheers!!

your sim card on your phone is not recongi* and you can clean ,your sim card before application or crash from your sim card can result to this problem.............
