nokia 7250i charging IC damage - GSM-Forum

hello everyone i got nokia 7250i mobile and it is not charging i have shown to all hardware repairers and they are telling that charging ic is damaged so is it is possible to repair and fit new ic manually. and ic is available or not.

pls tell me any other way to charge mobile just now i am charging battery externally.

Hi M8

In that case of U'r phone , it is a type of high tech constructabelity and it is not easy to Fix it with U'r self with any way ( if U have time read some old posts ) , it needs U to be experted , equiped , and have basic knoldges of Fixation at least !!
My advice to U is to take it to an authorised service center cuase 7250i doesnt have a stand alone IC for charging !!, it is one "Big" chip ( UEM ) wich controles every thing onboard also it containes the IMEI ( serial No of the phone ) and when changes it needs to be reprogramed with a new No.
So it is better to take it there but avoid unexperted persons too !!

actually i have sended it to authorised service center but they told that this phone will not repair in whole india better u make external charger and charge ur battery.

Check all components in backside, sometimes are bad solded, like in my phone.

how come nokia authorised service center can not do it ?
is it your phone water damaged ?

try to clean then PCB pad ..
and remove UEM , and check all line from fuse to UEM !
