Nokia 7610 White Screen - GSM-Forum

Hi guys I recently replaced a screen in a nokia 7610
i had it sitting for about a year in my draw thought i fix it then
first time i turned it on nokia logo come up and said no sim card
turned it off put sim in now all i get is white screen
i tried the green button + * + 3 and switch on
nothing seems to happen does anyone have any ideas
thanks guys i know its a old phone but hey

i think you want try to flash! because i think you format the phone time your bettery mybe no enough power after software down!i also have few time is same problem too flash after is ok

if u r mob is working change lcd ic.......

try to fullflash the phone with latest firmware..

guys how do i flash it when the phone doesn't turn on just white screen
and i did just replace the lcd screen as it was cracked ill try what ever you have to say just need to explain what to do im a bit Slow(LOL)
battery should be ok as i tryed another one and same thing happened just white screen sometimes you can hear the keypad working then it just shuts off

it can listen the keyin sound i think is the lcd ic or lcd problem only try to check and charge!

4 check flash ic or re hot flash ic

Where could i find lcd ic at all

i fi get one i could definitly put it on as i do it bit of solidering at work ill have a look today see if its just a startnard chip thanks ill try that

flash the phone with latest version.

1st.change lcd
2nd.display ic
3rd.display connecter
4th.rehot ram

just erase it... and fully flash with hwk and write good pm.... and then click on Rp BT... its done
