nokia 7710 firmware upgrade
 

My worning sounds doesn't work, (battery empty, baterry full, connection start/stop etc) the firmware is Vp 02.08.1 (08/12/2004)
I have found all the sounds (battery low, battery full, coonection start, connection stop, error tone, etc) in Z:\System\sounds, but they don't work and I don't know why. Sounds like "charging" works, also the intro nokia sound works, and power on, but why the warrning tones not working? Anybody can tell me?
And i have found also some background images, that "set background image" from desktop didn't find them. I copyed them to c:\mydocs and then i put them on background. Anyone knows why ? Is it something wrong with my Z: drive?
I've found them with powerfile, but what are there for if I can't put them on desktop ? My phone it's fine, I can put wallpapers, it's finding all the pics from device's memory, but what is the meaning of that 4 wallpapers in Z: drive if the phone cannot acces the Z: without a 3th party software ? maybe you'll look for the pictures with powerfile in Z:\system\images. There are: wallpaper01,-04.
Anybody please, I'm gonna make an firmware upgrade today. Is there any diference ? Is the phone's performance more reliable ? Please, reply.
