Nokia 8210 1 line missing in display - GSM-Forum

I can buy a cheap 8210 from someone with 1 line missing in the display...
Is this easy to repair? Will changing display rubber or changing complete display solve thisproblem?

Any suggestions appreciated.

if you gently preee the screen down and it works, then its the rubber (elastoma) connector, otherwise the screen has a fault.

excellent results!!

After opening the thing I noticed the previous "repair" man put aiece of cardbord with some sticky tape on the display...

After removing that and cleaning the whole thing with some alcohol the thing is working perfectly...
