nokia 8210 screen problem - GSM-Forum

can somebody help me out there my 8210 screen keeps going off when it gets pushed slightly i have heard of this problem before but never found out how to fix it if anybody could give me a site where the info is or anybody could tell me how to do it i would be grateful<br />thanks <br />the butcha

replace the elastomer in the lcd.. if you don't have this, try cleaning it and putting it back <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

if this don't work, solder lightly the 2 capacitors found at the back of the LCD..

if problem still persists after the nth times you've tried, just replace the LCD <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> It could save you time and trouble <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Hi!<br />Don't try to clean elastomer with spirit. It will destroy it...<br /> <img src="eek.gif" border="0"> <img src="eek.gif" border="0"> <img src="eek.gif" border="0">
