Nokia 8210 shuts down, drains battery fast

Yes, I have seen a few posts that appear to relate to my problem.

The Nokia 8210 phone drains the battery dead in a few minutes of use. It either has time for the courtesy of letting the user know that battery should be charged - or it simply shuts off the phone with no warning. This happens with a fresh new fully charged Nokia original battery. And I have even changed the batteries a few times wit hno help. The phone is a second habd and has no warranty..

Right..

Somewhere I saw a note that this could be a firmware issue. The firmware on the phone is V5.16 / 15-02-00 / NSM-3 which is not the last one. Is it known that the firmware could be the problem. And if it is, is it possible to upgrade without authorised Nokia maintenance shop and special equipment?

But then on this forum I have seen several notes that it could be hardware issue.. Somewhere I saw a note that it could be related to loose connectors of ccont.. My problem here is that I do not know where to start.. what and where is that ccont?

All input greatly appreciated..
