Nokia 8310 showing CONTACT SERVICE after flashing!! - GSM-Forum

I had a 8310 that would switch off occasionaly so i decided to flash it with Neelix 3.
After i flashed it i put it on n it worked fine but when i took the battery out again CONTACT SERVICE came up.
I have re-flashed the phone and even re-flowed the UEM but still the same, some one says i might need to replace the Flash IC but im unsure, what should do??

try to full flash it then flash language only when phone will be on local mode unlock it

I have this problem with a 6100 too...flahs and do everything nothing happen/Finally the problem is the PCB board is bent. Did u drop the phone or has the phone been dropped, or heated too much?

i have done everything possible with Neelix 3 but it aint a software fault i dont think!
What can be wrong with it by hardware?

before doing a uem change,
i just want to hear you guys your opinions.

i flashed 8310 with griffin and ufs3,old and new version,also UNLOCKED IT MANY TIMES, factory reset and format users area,both flashers shows local mode and power on while connected it cable insert sim shows but still contact service if battery is connected.

used also some erase flash and still the same status,

confirming its uem corrupt eeprom side?

anyone had 100% solution?

Ey try to reheat ur flash IC, maybe its have cold contacts. Be sure to apply an ample amount flux so dat the IC will be properly aligned... Then flash again!... i repaired a lot of 8310 with the same problem... Pls posts for result.

i made it!

the reason of my contact service 8310 isin the uem,after changing it it is now ok.
test unit with griffin and you will see what will fail.
