nokia 8800 slide problem plzzzzz - GSM-Forum

when i slide the phone , the screen light doesn't turn on, first 2 up buttons not working , joystick(all four) buttons not working and also menu button not working.
The screen does not display Menu option, Go to and Contacts.

Is like the phone is still in the slide , like i didn't slide it up.

i found my problem.

The problem was the magnet on the slide!
