Member: 4690 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Nokia clips - help! I know this sounds VERY ambitious for someone with no prion pic programming experience but as christmas is coming and I'll have some spare cash and time - it would make a great project! Does anyone have any info on clip's, pic programming, etc? PLEASE email me or reply! Thanks in advance |

It is a very useful tool.
For the security code reset you must scan first the Mbus commands,
and then implement them as serial transmitting to the phone. Get a suitable PIC for serial communication, or you
will have to make it software. Best regards |

Member: 4690 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Thanks a lot!
Well I'm getting the components tomorrow to build a JDM original PIC Programmer.. Looks pretty good!
It'll do: PIC12C5XX, 12C67X, 24CXX, 16C55X, 16C61, 16C62X, 16C71, 16C71X, 16C8X, 16F8X, ISO-CARD's with ASF and other serial programmable chips by adapter. So, hopefully I can get going somewhere once I've build it.. Only costs £10 for components and equipment! Compared to £25/£30 for prebuilt ones I think this is pretty good! I'll keep you posted on how i get on.. Maybe even set up a small site with hex, etc - if I get somewhere that is.. |

Member: 6156 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | Good luck By the way... £10 is expensive for components for a pic programmer...
I've built a prototype one for £3... maybe components are cheaper here in Portugal Keep me updated with your work. I love PIC programming. BTW... I replied to your other post about the connectors. |

Member: 4690 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Yeah, the actual components were only £1.44!
But the StripBoard was £4.60, the serial cable is £2 and the StripBoard cutter is £2.. so it sorta adds up! Well, i've found a great language for PIC 16F84 - it's real easy to use and serial output is as simple as:
asynch(0x84, 0x55, 0x33, "A", 123) It's called JaL, looks like it will be pretty good! |

So simple! Just bought all the components for the programmer (screw paying £40 for a prebuilt one!)
Hopefully I will have it built by the end of the day, but the PIC's were not in stock so i can't test it |

I have some over here... I'll trade for any info you can get me about programming M2BUS |
