I've the same problem with digitizer.
My digitizer is orginal and not broked.

I changed firmware and full format, but problem still the same.
After reset is OK, but after few minutes stop working.
Only reset can help.

Any solutions for this problem?

avilable in market VERSION B

For replacing 920 Ddigitizer check this first

1. The 920 touch screen have 2 versions ( A and B).
2. You can check the chip ( the little black square thing )
on the flex cable of your original touchcreen
to find out which version your touch screen is .
3. TIPS: There will be some very small numbers+letters marked on the chip.
4. For example : S3202B the word "B" means your original touch screen is version B. this not work in A gigi phones

920 digitizer issue

Dear Friends,

I've just bought a refurbished 920 from HK. It came in flawless condition, like new.

The first time I've powered it up, it worked fine until the screen timed out.
After that I've only managed to make the digitizer work after several resets. ( hard reset )
After a reboot, the digitizer 'died" again, and since that, whatever I do, I can not bring it back to life. I've just read here, that there are ver A, and B available from these digitizers.
I intend to order a new one, if the seller does not get back to me with a solution after a few days. This means I will not care about guarantee...

The thing is, even if I check the ribbon on the digitizer, I can not be sure, that while refurbishing the digitizer was not switched out, to a bad version!

Is there any other way, to check the version I need? Any ID besides on the digitizer itself, that can point me to the right direction? ( motherboard ID..etc )
Or shall I go for another version that it has now, and see the results.

Also I've been thinking to switch not just the digitizer, but to order an LCD + digitizer together.
Would that solve the version problem? Or the issue is between mainboard and digitizer?
Please help me, I'm very untrained with nokia phones.
Thanks!
