Nokia N70 White Screen Hanging Solution - GSM-Forum

Some good advice from someone who has been looking for this solution for many months, FORGET jumper solutions because you are just wasting your time with this and forget reheating the board as well.
I do not have a diagram to upload but those of you should know where the black bga chip is on the left hand side of the keypad system connector, that is all you have to replace, no jumpers needed. I have just finished my fourth N70 in this way, just change the chip and nothing else.
you can also find the chip on 6680 board.
please take my advice and you will not regret it.

agree with you mate but making jumper will not cause any problems, and its very easy to apply the jumper then change bga..

Bro just be realistic ok.We all know changing ic is better than jumping wire but what you want us to do in country where we cant get the ic which is you indicate.As he say that i can get the ic from Nokia 6680 board.Ha ha ha hai know it too but is it the nokia 6680 can be found in street? Please be realistic and the jumping solution is when you cannot get the ic ok

Thanks for the constructive criticism, of course I know that you cannot always get parts for the phones but I have tried the jumper solutions hundreds of time with no luck, not because I don't know what I am doing becase I have been in mobile repairs for eight years. of course if the jumper works for you then great and good luck to you.
so you be realistic BRO!!!!!!

White screen and hanging doesnt happpen not only for 1 reason as you mentioned but for many reasons and I just dont think that this is the final solution for white screen and hanging doesit? In particular cases you have to make jumper instead of changing ics and some times we have to do both at the same am I right?And it will be more comfortable if u had mentioned for what reason you changed the Ic and what will you do ape chips are present in phone but no ape mcu detected (Its an error msg of jaf1.98.25for n70 and 72whitescreen and hanging) and in such cases we have to make ajumper .....so please mention due to what reason you had succeeded ....Good luck

before you do all these guys,test you screens on n70 model.also screen doesnt show anything bt white screen if faulty.
