Nokia N73 Sim not valid - GSM-Forum

Hi, i have a nokia n73 on orange with orange sim. It wont start with sim card in?? It beeps and says SIM not valid?? What can i try?? Is the phone broke?

Without the sim card in the phone starts in offline mode and is OK.

what cable do i need? DKU-5? or will ca-53 work?? or something else?

You need box and fbus cable to unlock it...Use search button for free soft, use jaf box or ufs

ah so i need to buy a box.....hmmm maybe should buy a new phone?

Brother sim not valid means network lock.try to unlock it using UB.if your NOTP is activated you can use that button to unlock your phone network use NO TP Maintenance unlock button.

sim not valid ,your phone sp lock or sp data corrupted ,check imie ,imie is ok,then try un lock with bb5 king.........i hope your problem solved.
