nokia n79 battery problem

Hey.
A couple of days ago I woke up and found my phone (nokia n79) had gone off. Ever since, it heats up when charging and when I unplug the power, it goes off within seconds.

So I got a new battery, and the problem still persists. I have the latest firmware, and I have even reinstalled it, and currently my phone has nothing else installed in it.
On top of the problems above, it heats up when I am on a call, and the battery stills drains quickly, and takes very very long to charge fully (the new battery that is) .
What could be the problem?
Please, help

hello again,
the small battery on the motherboard, the one that maintains time even when the phone is off.
can it be the cause of this problem, because i removed my battery for a while, and when i put it back i noticed the phone had lost time by the period which the battery was removed.
