Member: 458909 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 33 | Nokia N95 8Gb draining battery - Draining battery in 5 hours - * key not working - Music player not working - Phone not charging I think he is taking a big chance, because non off this problems seems related. I did the followin: - Formatted mass memory (data were corrupted) music player now working - Replaced cracked charging block - Replaced keypad ic (ESD) Only problem i can't sort out is battery life. What could be the cause off the battery not lasting? Tested the battery this morning (2.1 v) |

Try taking nuberpad off and press the button and see if anything happens. if it dont work try taking the keypad off the board and see if there are any rust under the keypad if so clean. |

Member: 458909 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 33 | Thanks. The * button was solved by replacing ESD ic. I fitted original housing. Connected phone through power supply. PCB and all components stay cool. No overheating. Any other way to test? |
