nokia n96 black screen problem i change display also i change flex cabel no solve.. and i can see data in monitor but it mirror all data in monitor
is mirror the phone work fine. i changed the 2 display ics but same problem

i tested bord on ather display and another flex but still same problem so the problem in board not display and not flex cable

so if any one have solution please post here .

The Nokia N96 screen behaves funny if you set the contrast to maximum in the settings. In my case it started to turn the screen black and it did not light up if I pressed any key (as I expected it to). When I went to settings, phone, ..., display and set the contrast back a little from the maximum the functionality was restored. You can try this or reset to factory settings. This should fix the problem.
