nokia Ngage headache - GSM-Forum

hi there,

hope i get some help on this. I have a Ngage QD lately while travelling it drop of my hand and now the set is coming on but it just shows insert sim card i tried to unlock and falsh but to no help. hopw to see some help soon.

i think your sim card driver is damaged. try reheating it with minimal flux.

apply some paste and reflow UEM and upp

first please check SIM is making a good connection to reader socket.

if pin is bent or broken you can repair that with small piece solder

if ok check your SIM ESI filter (look manual or search)

if fail you UpP/UEM fault.

no other cause
