Cool placing bga ics


pls i need help.i want to replace new BGA ICS,but i need u guys to help answer dis question 4 me.i want to know when is right to replace d NEW BGA ICS.After cleaning the pcb(motherboard)with desoldering wire how will i know that the board is ok.when i clean d board there still some silver dots on d board showing where d balls where removed.my question now is that should there be d silver dot on d board b\cos i tried to remove it ,to make d board look like a vigirin,but still no success.

i guess you're very ready to place your new BGA ic on the board. No need to remove the silver dots or you'll likely to end up........deadset. Whats with a board that look as if its a virgin? Just clean up the flux right after placing the ic...

The "silver dots" are all you need when using "desoldering wire" Solder wick you want to remove the solder balls remaining then clean pcb with a flux cleaner then check all pads are intact then you are ready to replace the uBga just use a little flux then place ubga, It doesn't have to be 100% lined up as it will move into posistion when solderballs melt but don't expect that to work when the uBga is sitting 45%
