PPM = Post Programmable Memory
UPP indicate that the flash prommer is connected

At last someone gave the full forms of the abbreviations! I knew what they mean and the full form of MCU, but PPM's full form I'd not learnt.

No both are different processors.... renaming MAD2 to UPP wont make it UPP..

About the abreviations :

MAD = MCU (Master Control Unit), ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit), DSP (Digital Signal Processor or Processing)

UPP = UNIVERSAL PHONE PROCESSOR
