check the transistor near battery connector.

THE UEM IS PROBABLY FAULTY. HOWEVER, YOU MAY FIRST CHECK FOR ANY TRACES OF LIQUID DAMAGE ON THE PCB, AND IF ANY IS FOUND, TRY AND CLEAN WELL WITH THINNER OR SPIRIT.
