Are you sure the switch itself is functional? You need to check the continuity between the two upper legs of the switch and do same for the two lower legs. You ask me how to do this? 1. Set the multimeter tester control at continuity with the sign of the diode. 2. Touch the two upper legs of the switch with the meter probes and press the switch as if you want to power on the phone. If you hear sound, the two legs are okay. 3. Repeat step 2 for the two lower legs and listen if there is sound. If there is no sound in either of the two cases or both, you need to change the switch. | |
