Hello,

I have a 6510 with waterdamage. I want to put the print into alcohol. When I look at the print I see a battery near the IR. Is it possible to remove that battery or not? Or can I put the battry also into the alcohol.

I am using a ultra sonic cleaner.

I heard that this battry is for the clock and the date. But does anybody knows if I can remove this battery and put it back without any damage?

yes you can!!

Course you can put board to alcohol with battery.
Depending on type of alcohol you will have different board demages

I have put him into the alcohol 96%. Used the ultra sonic cleaner and the print worked again.
