Problem with 3330 at startup. - GSM-Forum

Hi

I have this problem on 3330.
After switch on displays correct black test screen, but no Insert card...only background ligt and phone hangs.
I tried update sw.Everything pass OK with flashing but phone still have same problem.
I also tried rehot CCONT,COBBA,flash,ram but nothing happen.
Have anybody same problem or any idea?

Try power on phone without multimedia card and see what happens...

I`m not shure that I understand you and I don`t see the point.
With or without SIM card same thing

please read well... not sim card! Try without multimedia card and see if sets boot ok.

Sorry I'm too busy working on the 3300 problem where it powers off while booting or does not read the multi media card on power up that I didnt see you were talking about 3330...

sorry mate!

you should try another LCD and replace 33KHz crystal.

Hi

LCD is OK.Theres correct black test screen when phone is powered on.
Phone power on and than stay jamed with lights on and blank screan then shuts down.

change the flash IC... had this type of prob once. most likely it's also heating up right? try changing the flash IC

it can be MAD problem, did your phone dropped to the floor ?

Azampk is right.

Just reflash it.

I have 3 3330 in August 2004 with same proble and without dropdown or anything else.

I think is something from Nokia (Expire date)...

Check it...
