Re: N97 charging prob, Low Battery

I quoted fron Nokia care but i have same prom look here:-

Hi, I've had my N97 for about 2 weeks and charge it at home (with charger supplied) in the car (with adaptor supplied) and at work through USB cable also supplied. A few times i have noticed that it was running low on charge and whist this was annoying compared to my last Nokia (E90) i figured that it nust be down to all the radios the N97 has (i have BT & WiFi on all the time).

However i have noticed just in the past couple of days that it does not appear to charge in the car. Since getting the N97 the charging adaptor supplied has got very hot and i have tried several other leads and a freinds N97 adaptor but they all seem to get hot. This would explain why i am not recharging during the day (i have 1hr each way commute)

I also experienced the battery indicator indicating that it was charging even when i had removed the charger and the small white light next to charger/USB port was still on....a quick battery removal reboot cured but i have had it twice since.

Today however i have had to spend an hour just getting the N97 to a) boot up and allow me to access controls b) take any charge at all!

I have lost track of the switch off...battery out...reboot combinations so i can't even tell you how i got it working again...but my question is who else is having the same problems...and any sign of a cure?
