Showing Only the Network Operator's Name .. - GSM-Forum

Hi Masters,

Can anybody tell me the solution of Network Problem like that it shows only the Operator's Name i.e. HUTCH but no network bar.

Actually, the problem was low netowrk in case of one operator only in the remote area i.e. RELIANCE GSM SMART but other network in the same region are absolutely OK. I picked up the Ant. Switch and replaced with a new Ant.Sw.but since then after RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS only, it's showing only the HUTCH and No Network Bar.

What's the solution?

use manual search and tell us what it shows...
before that chk ant. contacts..

Hi Brother,

In case of Nokia 1100, after MANUAL SEARCH, it doesn't show anything and showing either NO NETWORK FOUND / NO NETWORK COVERAGE.

And almost the same thing happens in Nokia 3310,3315 & 3350 set. Customer came with NO NETWORK PROBLEM and after MANUAL SEARCH, it shows all the operators name but at the time of selecting the HOME NETOWORK, it shows NO ACCESS. And if I do RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS, only the homenetwork is showing e.g. AIRTEL, HUTCH, RELIANCE etc. but no NETOWORK BAR on the left hand side of the LCD.

Pls.give me the right solution.

u need to chk amplifier section...gsm,dcs... change it if faulty..

the part name is itself gsm amplifier...they are small silver in color
or black..
