Some cable questions! I wonder. What is the different between this lpt cable and the com cable? I have a flashcabel (lpt) Can I use a converter (from lpt to com) and use it as a mbus cable? lpt is fbus and com (rs232) is mbus? I'm working on a dct-4 imei-change sollution and really need this basic **** sorten out. |
If you are good in SW, then you can make SW send / receive data from LPT as COM port baud ! but WHY ? if you are good in SW, then you can control COM port as well ! and LPT can be set on FBUS/MBUS ,,, Willy |
fbus to mbus? Well, I'm not going to build a bridge thats allready been built. All I'm going to try, is to manipulate a firmware that trick the phone to read the imei in other ways than it supposed to. Ex exlude uem imei. Therefor all I need is a flashing cable to transfer the firmware. Since I am into this phone-thing, I wanted to find out which SW and cabels are availeble, and what kind of cable the SW requires (genral research). I bought a kit. A lpt cable (flash cable) that converts into a ps2. And a bounch of phone connectors that can be connected to this ps2 plug. So do I have to buy a new cable or can I use a converterto make this fbus cable a mbus? |
