uBGA problem...

1) this is the uBGA net (stencil) with open container of soldier paste,

2- soldier paste: written on lid : advanced quality, joint high density high immersion,
Its like in a solid form when cold, but when i heat it with gun or put soldier iron
into it it becomes a thick liquid.(paste) u can heat this in the tin forever it does
not seem to becomming soldier, when leave to cold it becomes hard again.

Keep the stencil
Throw the other paste in the garbage and then go to www.warton-metals.co.uk and buy some high quality solder paste/flux etc

sorry sir, but that container is not solder paste... it is solder FLUX...

this you apply on board/ic before making the soldering. it helps the solder to flow once melted...

They are useless anyway. He probably will make more damage if he uses it.

I've tried both, heating first and heating after removing and the result is not good. I've read in the forum that the correct method is heating the paste while in stencil.
