How does UEM UPP ic's works, and if damage what is it cause

UEM universal Energy Management... controls the following.. power, charging, signal, holds the imei of the phone... if this chip is damage cause no power to phone...... or corrupted.. this will cause sim not valid.... UPP its the main procesor.... if this chip is faulty also cause no power, keypadmalfunction..., display.....
