its urgent 6680 no display light, plz help?

Hi,
check these two connector, lcd conn (X4401) & keyb conn (X4400). You can also try to use another good lcd, maybe the light problem is on the display itself. Hope this help..

i dont think so that the connecters are bad, may be lcd, but wat other place which cause backlight failure?

Hi mr HUM.
your phone is running ?if your phone is run & only display problem then pls chk your display ic.rehot your display ic or change it.
if your phone is not running with incoming & out going ,only light in display then its not lcd or lcd related problem.

simply change the two display ic and enjoy display ic s are above flash, change both of them together and post results

it show everything on screen, only backlight problem....anyone have pic of light ic and related components?

only no display! the LCD LED is not controlled by the keypad IC...

did u try to change the LCD with new? if you have try to change...
sometimes the LED is damaged..
try to check the voltage if you measured same value...
you can start your phone w/out the LCD...

check here the backlight IC image but you don't need to change it as you said the keypad backlight is working...

first thing change the LCD with working one!
if you don't have check the test point shown on the pic...
for u to know where the problem is.
