URGENT Help Needed
 

hi,

a few weeks ago my NOKIA 6230 seemed to be blocked, as it had the error message "simcard registration failed" and there was no signal strength at all, but just recently, i turned the phone on and there was no error message and all the signal came back, and i was also able to recieve calls from the handset,

but now all the signal strength has completly gone altought there is still no error message, has any1 got any idea what has happened, and how i could fix this?

i am not able to flash the phone, because i do not have any of the flashing "kits" and i dont plan to buy one in the future,

you said check the sim connector, how do i do tht?

use cuttonbud and pure alcohol to clean simcard connector...

didnt work it does the same thing, it seems like it keeps going in circles, sometimes the signal comes back and works, and then most of the time the signal goes :confused:

has any1 got any ideas whts wrong with it?

check the sim holder if its not too loose.. usually faulty simcard contact causes for to register " sim card registration failed" or signal bar sudden drop. B.R.
