Drop it in alcohol Isopropanol and leave it there for 24 hours...
Clean afterwards with antistatic brush & alcohol.
Let it dry some hours....and test your phone!

You could of cours also use Ultrasonic & alcohol if you have it!

Regards

Alcohol makes oxidations harder to remove i think. I tryed on many phones and after that nothing could be removed even with an ultrasonic.
Use ultrasonic machine with 50% water 50% thinners (the ones used for paints) if you don't have special cleaning solution.
Then check your hardware for destroyed pcb traces, reflash the phone.
Maybe you need to reflow/reball some chips

Iso propanol 99% is the best for water damaged phones.
U can leave it in the alc. for 3-4 days, bruch it a little with an toothbrush.
And put some isopropanol under the uBGA's with a syringe.

Sometimes U need to reflash the phone and sometimes U need to reflow / reball some uBGA's.

I know chemistry very well...
It doesn't metter to what alchohol you put your phone...
It depends on 3 things: what substance it was in... battery charge level..
and the last (the most one) ... how long the phone was in substance...

All the rest is depended on board components....
