"bath clean up":
gasoline or paint thinner will destroy parts sealed by rubber based material (some renesas FEM, switch antennas, VCOs, etc) . My vote goes to Isopropyl.

Isopropyl contain water.
Alcohol contain water.
Gasoline/Petrol no water it is a oil product.
Other cleaners may contain water.
To make bath in gasoline you remove stickers.
Also there is not necessary to make bath i use a toothbrush soaked in gasoline and clean the needed area.
Paint thinner is good when connector is full of burn flux,i soak a stick with wool in thinner and clean connector until it remain like new.
Dichloroethane is useful for clean board from black or white glue after remove some ic like Uem,Retu etc but be careful what you clean because it eats some plastic but i clean also connectors with no problem.
People use what they like,so please vote & tell what you use.

-before u use "lacquer Thiner" open the cap for at least 24hrs so that the spirit will likely lessen..
-then good to go for cleaning purposes, using it of 7-8 years

I see "Health & Safety" is not a concern and has gone out the window, or does not apply in certain places.

Is this leaded or unleaded ??
