Where 2 start with A dead 5100 ? - GSM-Forum

this is first nokia 5100 i have, it's dead and i clean up PCB and i am just thinking where should i start ? i have some experience with some models, I thought i better do some search for this model. I am just wondering if someone here would help?

Well only clean if it water or any other liqiud damaged.If every thing seems well inside try to flash the fone if it boots....if not u need to check power supply lines.And also check if there are cold joints under ic.Maybe this can help.

Yeah, what i need now is a map or picture of possitive way. cheak it along the way if any damage there.Thanks for your help, and will try 2 search for more.... i would flash it first if i had a box for DCT4...

Hi, Guess what i have found, the positive point ( for the battery) is linked to
the ground. in other words - some where along the line whether a component or a soldering point are damaged, no wonder the positive & the negative connectors has no resistance ( and nothing is heating up even when i put a battery in )
Can you or someone pointing out few places on PCB for me to look at or a picture of positive way would be very helpful. I thank. thanks!!!
