hi buddy--

many people ask and even myself---about the changing of the bga like ccont , flash ram --etc- whihc are glued-- how to change them--

kindly guide a easy and safest method ----

HI Mod,

to remove CCONT with glued , i used (hakko 850) to set :

AIR : 3.5
heater: 3
if use temp. meter to test it with 2 CM, it around 260 ~280 C.,

first heat side of CCONT, till tin come out !
then continue to heat CCONT and use knife to "VERY SLOW" to pull up CCONT !

almost all glue will stay in CCONT chip, PCB have few glue only!
then make AIR to 1, heater set to 2.5, then use knife to clean glue in PCB !

then clean CCONT chip upper all tin , and you can easy remove glue as like remove a paper !

this way only useful if u have one side of the i c from the four side of it not filled with the epoxy but full coverd as the mad2 or flash rom in 8210 i don't think so correct me if i m wrong

now market have one special liquid for remove this type of glue, thats very easy to remove it but i think thats not good for health.

also use squaren nozzle to heat MAD , so, it will not go over to flash rom or CCONT

Yes, there is however to say an important thing, to work the component BGA has to have a good hand and above all you has to understand how much air to use and how much heat for every type of component, if you succeed in understanding this the game is done.

please willy keep some secrets we reach to thiis level by cost us very expinsive ways .. like losing working bcp to have these secrets .. give advice not full experince as like u do .. any way u do a very very very big favour to ur freinds and this furom tooo ,.. all profissional repaires know that well that u make marvilles working here

dear sir i have the problem in 3310, if turn on the phone is ok in 900MHz and 1800 MHz but after 30 sec I make a call the phone say that the bat is low and shunt down even the bat is full, can you give me soma explanation for this i realy don't know what the problem because i already change ccont but still like that

i check my pa is good because i use like pad and you put at the back of antena i already change the cassing and with battery connector but still had that problem
