Dear Willy

I have a 3330 which kept on searching for network . I did RSSI with Wintesla which showed -144 . As you suggested in the other forum I want to measure vco out to hagar 2.8v but how and where to measure it. Since I was confused I tried reflowing Hagar and Cobba, Now the handset is dead.

Please guide me what can be done now?

I want to repair the phone the procedural way, but I don't know how to measure the voltage, since if I put in the battery everything will be covered in a 3310/3330.

Please help me friend.

HI Abubaby ,,

When you will measure VCO,,,,, you have to see hager control out to C558 , by use oscilloscope to check 2.8V with moduration !

For RSSI 144,,, most time,1: COBBA was problem ,2: Hager then 3:MCU then 4:VCO 5:line cut ,, you can try to see( by oscilloscope) that IP/QP before into COBBA is good or not .

then go to ( by oscilloscope) to see R301 SENA and SCLK and R300 SDATA, this is between MCU to talk to HAGER path !

OK, now your have dead phone, then first to remove cobba, then goto check (by oscilloscope) C303 for 13Mhz , if none, then you check C559 ( by oscilloscope ) 13Mhz ok or not,, if not, Hager is problem !

PLEASE MEASURE EVERY THING BEFORE YOU REHOT ANY CHIPS
