Hi,

Absolutely this is the most sensitive to the heat part of the whole RF unit.

As less as possible temperature.

Also important rule - don't put too much copper on siver or gold plated RF parts.

Best Regards

Hi,

Common problem with the bad/no reception in 3210 is Cobba chip. As you know this chip contain all ADC/DAC converters needed for convert I/Q analog signals to digital and back. Bad connection of the balls under the chip will cause also breaking of audio path.

I saw some new versions have a glue a side of Cobba to prevent breaking the balls.

To check is that a problem - twist the board (reasonable angle !) and check for change in the RSSI value change( WinTesla tests )

Best Regards

Cool

the cobba in this unit had a glue at all sides, as i inspected with a microscope all sides with a glue were all intact and i tried to **** again with a hot air with the use of hakko850 but the unit still the same (no signal)... by the way i have accidentally put a soldering lead on the copper pad of the Z500 because i'm trying to resolder the contacts, so, does this could affect the component function? and also sorry i don't have any idea yet with regards to wintesla... if it's okey with you, can you teach me how to use it and what are the materials do i need when i have to use the wintesla? i do have a service manual...
